<p>Prepositions of place (Les pr&eacute;positions de lieu / de location) indicate the location of someone or something in relation to another someone or something.</p>

<p style="padding-left: 40px"><span style="color:#0000ff;">&#9758; La banque est <strong>pr&egrave;s</strong> de la boulangerie.</span> <em><span style="color:#808080;">The bank is near the bakery.</span></em></p>

<p><span class="mt-bgcolor-ffff99"><strong>Note:</strong></span> with prepositions ending with &ldquo;<strong>de</strong>&rdquo;. If the noun afterwards is masculine, &ldquo;de&rdquo; will become &ldquo;<strong>du</strong>&rdquo;.</p>
